Today “Facebook Memories” shared a a post with me, which I made on the 28th of February in 2020, and I thought I would share it with you. In the 3 long years of the never ending Covid-19 “public health crisis” there has been nothing that has changed my mind about everything I felt on this day in 2020.
What about you? Do you remember where you were and what you thought about the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic?
CORONA VIRUS STRIKES CLOSE TO HOME
28th February 2020
The virus has struck a blow for me. I just had a university seminar cancelled due to the fear of the corona virus.
FEAR of this virus is going to be the greatest KILLER!
It is killing the economy worldwide.
The CEO of a a local 5 star hotel in downtown Bangkok told me that they had closed 19 out of 26 floors of their hotel in PEAK SEASON - when they should be full.
Now let's look at some statistics for how dangerous this virus is.
A study of 44k people from the Chinese Center for Disease Control tells us the mortality rate for those aged 10-49 years varies from 0.2% to 0.4% The mortality rate for 50-60 year olds is 1.3% From 60-80 years old it goes up to 3.6-8%. And for those who are more than 80 years old it is 14.8%. In 3 months in a total of 45 countries there have been 2,810 deaths.
Now compare this to people who died on Chinese roads in the same period.
China has a road deaths rate of 18.2 per 100,000 people per year. Last year 256,180 people died on China's roads. That is 64,405 in 3 months. That means the number of people killed on roads is 23 times the amount of people who died due to the virus. And this doesn't include the fatalities in the other 44 countries I just mentioned above.
Are we closing down roads worldwide, or refusing to use road transport because we are afraid we might die on the roads?
2810 - versus 64,405. WTF???? Are we all collectively insane. You cannot 'lock down' a virus. You can't see it, you can't smell it, you can't feel it - and you can't touch it. You can't detect it. And it will SPREAD!!! Because that's what viruses do best. The only thing we can do is take reasonable precautions.
But this response of FEAR, FEAR, FEAR is insane.
And it is going to do far more damage to the worlds economy, and peoples lives than the number of deaths, or the cost of the sick peoples hospital bills would be. It would be better not to over react and try and shut down cities, borders, travel, trade and tourism.
I for one, refuse to 'worry' and be 'afraid' of the corona virus. I will continue to wear a face mask and go about my daily life as I did before the contagion of the FEAR of this virus took root and started to spread!
I am NOT AFRAID of the Corona virus.
There is a greater chance of me being killed crossing a street in Bangkok, or taking a motorcycle taxi down my street.
(P.S. My reason for wearing a face mask in Bangkok prior to Covid-19 was that in the winter here, which is November to February, the air pollution is off the charts. So for some years I was in the habit of wearing an N95 mask during winter, and it made a big difference. But they don’t stop coronaviruses!)
Common sense as always and now we know it’s all just a smoke screen for control and that the gene therapy disguised as a vaccine is dangerous from the real science and the cbdc and digital identity is next on their agenda along with imposed food and energy shortages but still some people can’t see it, god help us all
Da!
I've been reading the bird every day since the start of 2020.
